LIVING TILES

In this project at ESAD university in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, we had to design tiles that had an environmental theme. I designed and created tiles that allow for chia or moss to grow. Chia tiles could be used in the kitchen as a micro vertical sprouting garden. Moss tiles outdoors help create green spaces in urban environments. Natural wood grain pattern lends it a familiar and organic look.
